The famous U.S. Bank Stadium is home to NFL team the Minnesota Vikings, and it can be found in downtown Minneapolis in Minnesota.

It’s an enclosed stadium, and in addition to its use of hosting NFL games, it is also known to host soccer games, baseball games and music concerts, too.

It has a high seating capacity, coming in at 66,860, expandable to 73,000.

And with so many potential guests for each game, that’s a lot of hungry mouths to feed, and as you may imagine, there are a great many food options available for fans. This is the focus of the remainder of this article.

The Minneapolis, Minnesota area is well known for certain foods. Tater Tots are a particularly popular local cuisine, and you get to enjoy them at the stadium, and you can pick up a standard portion for just $5.50.

Or, alternatively, you can pick up a single burger with tater tots for $15. For those of you who don’t  already know, tater tots are basically grated potatoes shaped into little cylinders and deep-fried.

And another classic favorite in local Minneapolis cuisine is cheese curds. Cheese curds are basically moist pieces of curdled milk. They can either be eaten alone as a snack or added to other dishes.

And you can enjoy this local treat from 5 different concession stands at the stadium, 3 at the 100 level and 2 at the 300 level.

Restaurants Near The U.S. Bank Stadium

With the prices for food and beverages so steep at the stadium, coupled with the fact that you are not permitted to bring any of your own, you might be tempted to look outside the stadium in the surrounding area for a bite to eat and the chance to quench your thirst.

Here’s a quick run through of some of the restaurants, cafés and bars in the surrounding area…

The Vikings Longhouse is a great place to eat. Not only does it have plenty of TVs to keep you entertained as you eat, but it also happens to be an extension of the stadium itself.

It can be found on The Commons plaza, and it has huge glass walls that allow you to watch everything going on at the stadium.

The nearby Blarney Pub and Grill is also very good. It has quite the impressive selection of beers and tap, including a whopping 11 different local beers. They also serve steak, chorizo, and veggie hamburger options.

Or if you’d prefer something more upmarket, you could check out McKinney Roe, which has an amazing wine list and has stunning views of the park and skyline.
