AT&T Stadium – Arlington, Texas (Home Of The Dallas Cowboys)

AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas is one of the most costly venues ever built, with construction costing $1.2 billion. Home to the Dallas Cowboys, it opened in 2009 and features a retractable roof.

It is also commonly known as Jerry World, after the Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who had visions of it being an entertainment center.

Two 300 foot steel arches span the stadium dome, and there are high levels of detail and luxury everywhere.

The stadium is home to one of the largest HD video display boards in the world.

Formerly known as Cowboys Stadium, the stadium took four years to build. The  funding was helped by the city of Arlington raising taxes, a loan from the NFL and the Cowboy’s owner, Jerry Jones.

In 2013 the naming rights of the stadium were granted to AT&T, in a sponsorship deal which would bring in $17-$19 million per year.
